This picture is almost perfect. A small golf course, with lush green grass, with the smell of the ocean (if you jumped up a bit you could see it) and a sand bunker to make it all worth while :)
Yellow Coconuts
As was expected, there were several coconut trees in Goa. However, what was unexpected were these yellow-orange ish coconuts. Every coconut I’ve seen before is green. Turns out these are a different kind of coconut that grows in Goa (as well as a few other coastal areas).
Yellow Flower
I was in Goa this weekend to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary. Unfortunately that meant that I couldn’t process and upload the photos I took there.
As I was walking to the beach for the first time, I came across this awesome looking yellow flower. I have no idea what it is, though.
Light Pot
This week’s theme is Color. I was searching for something to shoot that would be interesting and came across this “light pot” (that’s a name I just made up – I have no idea what this thing is actually called) amongst the Dussera decorations that are currently strewn all over the house. I took it into the living room, turned off all the lights and started shooting. This was my favorite shot.
Bottle Opener
This is my trusty little bottle opener. I used to use it to open bottles of beer and wine but lately, its primary use case has been to open bottles of milk when I’m hungry in the middle of the night. From opening alcohol bottles to opening haal bottles. How the mighty have fallen :)
